Prominent Punjabi singer-actor Jassie Gill, who is making his Bollywood debut with Aanand L. Rai's upcoming flick "Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns", shares that he is in a "happy space", literally. Sharing an anecdote out his up till journey in the industry right from the time when he made his musical debut in 2011 with the album "Batchmate", Gill told to IANS:
From grooving songs to heartbreak songs, Jassie Gill has given his fans the best of musical entertainment. 'Snapchat', 'Nakhre', 'Dil Tutda' and the most recent of his songs 'Guitar Sikhda' are worth the repeated listens. His mesmerising voice proves to be a rousing showcase of his talent and charm. 'Bapu Zimidar' hitmaker further added;I did have my fair share of struggle in the industry but I'm lucky enough to get the opportunity to showcase my talent. After the success of my first song, 'Batchmate', the audience, especially music buffs, showered immense love and huge support, which worked in my favour.
‘Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns’ is the sequel to the 2016 ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ which starred Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Abhay Deol and Jimmy Shergill. The film centred around Happy's (Diana) adventures. Both the movies are Mudassar Aziz directorial. Jassie will be seen sharing the silver screen with Bollywood divas Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty. Recently, Jassie also revealed the rebirth of a talent on a snap chat post. This talent was none other than his writing skill. In his post, Jassie quoted that he had stopped writing due to some reasons but is now ready to pick it up again. Well, let’s not dabble in the reasons why he stopped writing. But for sure since the singer-actor will be sharpening his lyrical skills 2018 is ought to be a mega blast from Jassie's side, pal you just need to wait and watch. All the good luck Jassie Gill. And I'm glad that I continued with every song that happened thereafter. I'm currently shooting for my big debut film, 'Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns', produced by Rai's Colour Yellow Productions and directed by Mudassar Aziz. It features Sonakshi Sinha opposite me. So I'm in a very 'happy space', literally.
