Salman Khan the Tiger Zinda Hai lead actor is once again making the headlines. But this time it is not for his film that is ruling at the box office but for the disruption of the ongoing shoot of Race 3. After receiving death threats from the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the Bollywood superstar while on set for experienced some armed men. According to the reports from Mumbai Mirror, armed men on Tuesday landed at Salman’s next film ‘Race 3’ sets at Film City, Mumbai and were heading towards him. Before the armed men could get to Salman the Police who suspected the situation came and rushed actor to safety at his Bandra residence. More from the reports is that Ramesh Taurani the producer of the 'Race 3' was told by the police to put a stop immediately as the actor needed to be in safety. Salman was escorted home by six cops, while his own car was driven back to his residence by another group of cops. Also, the actor has been asked to avoid riding a cycle and lay low. He should avoid sharing his whereabouts on the social media. Lawrence Bishnoi has been charged in over 20 cases of attempted murder, carjacking, extortion, and snatching under the Arms Act of Punjab-Haryana belt. According to the senior inspector of Police, “The police are taking Bishnoi’s threat seriously but we have assured Salman that he will receive maximum police protection. We are also investigating the motive behind Bishnoi’s threat to Salman.” However, this is not the first time Salman Khan has received a death threat. Last year, in February, a threat call to the superstar was made to the Police Control Room in Mumbai by an anonymous caller. Also in 2014, Salman had received similar threat calls from the gangster don Ravi Pujari. As a result in 2002, Salman had sought for an arms license after receiving threats.
