Punjabi cinema is evolving with each passing day. Evolving in the sense that the filmmakers are now trying their hand at different scripts, stories, film concepts, and this experimenting is also taken up by the actors and the other team and crew of the film. Such an onward looking and positive response always gives a boost to the filmmakers and the scriptwriters. When Punjabi films are talked about, people usually think that it might be a romantic comedy or only comedy.
But the Punjabi filmmakers have now also started making films which involve a lot of action and drama. There are also period dramas which have been made in the Punjabi cinema, and these are Punjab 1984, Bambukaat, Angrej, and Nikka Zaildar to name a few. Other than these, there are also action films being made. And the king of action in Punjabi cinema is Deep Sidhu.
Action films are his area of expertise and he has done justice to it. He has done films like Rang Punjab, Ramta Jogi, and Jora. All these films were much appreciated by the audience and also did pretty well at the box office.
And now, Deep Sidhu is all set to give his audience the taste of his acting skills once again, but with a sequel to his already released film Jora 10 Numbaria. Jora 10 Numbaria was released in 2017 and was directed by Amardeep Singh Gill and was a massive hit among the audience. The popularity of the film spread with the word of mouth and eventually it received the much-deserved appreciation and fame.
And now with the announcement of the film, it has already raised the excitement level among all of us. Sharing this good news with all of us, Deep Sidhu shared the poster and captioned it as
Amardeep Singh Gill is directing even the sequel and is being presented by Bathinda Wale Bai Films in association with Loud Roar Films and Raj Motion Pictures. The sequel of the film will be hitting the theatres on 22nd November 2019.
The film will go on board from 29 April this month.
