Padmavati has been making the news even before the year started. While most of the times it was on the news for all the wrong reasons, the movie proved its worth after the release of its trailer. Though it was short, it was big enough to make the audience long for the movie. The makers released the first song from the movie today and it will only add up to your love for 'Padmavati'. The song is called Ghoomar and is quite on the customary side. Voiced by Swaroop Khan and Shreya Ghoshal, it will give you the whole Rajasthani feel. It shows the Rajasthani traditional dance Ghoomar, which consists of a lot of twists and turns (and undoubtedly Deepika nails it). Sanjay Leela Bhansali never leaves a stone unturned to make his vision become a beautiful reality. With sets larger than life and costumes grander than ever, he gives the viewer sheer pleasure. Sanjay Leela Bhansali may have just broken his own record of exquisite with Ghoomar. The director has also given the music for this and he has excelled in that as well. Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati is simply a sight that no one can afford to miss. The grace and royalty she carries in her walk is something that is really not an easy thing to display. The diva makes it look all smooth and easy dancing in that 20 Kg lehenga. Though she has already proved that she can slay heavy dresses, dancing, expressions and grace (in Bajirao Mastani), it feels fresh to watch her. Even though the two do not have any intimate scenes in this song, their chemistry is on point. This song definitely has to be one of the main reasons that one should go and watch the movie.
