Angad Bedi who recently tied the knot with Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia is all praise for his 'Soorma' co-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Soorma is a biopic of hockey legend 'Sandeep Singh' who spent two years of his life in a wheelchair. In a recent statement, Angad revealed that Diljit Dosanjh who is shining bright in Bollywood, as well as Pollywood, is like a brother to him. The actor said; we are used to stay in touch every day. We bond over a lot of things, I'm a big fan of his music and he is one of the most talked about Punjabi stars not just in India but also in overseas. We share the same roots, he's from Ludhiana and I'm from Amritsar. We are used to have most of our conversations in Punjabi. In the movie, Angad will be essaying the character of Sandeep's younger brother Bikramjeet Singh. The actor said that while preparing for the film he got to learn a lot from the hockey legends Sandeep and Bikramjeet Singh. In the film, Bikramjeet's character is of an explosive Hockey player and for that i had to gain a lot of muscle strength, I had to learn the tricks that how Bikramjeet was used to dribble the ball with the hockey stick. His previous notable works were in 'Tiger Zinda Hai' (2017) where he played an important role of RAW agent and 'Dear Zindagi' (2016) where he played one of the love interests of Kaira (Alia Bhatt). 'Soorma' also stars Tapsee Pannu in an important role and is scheduled to release on 13th July. The film is Directed by Shaad Ali.
