Personating the role of famous Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh, Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh is all set to amaze by his performance in 'Soorma'. Taking to his Twitter handle, Dosanjh on Friday shared a zealous training video of 'Soorma', saying this has been 'the toughest role' he has ever played till now. On Friday, the 'Udta Punjab' star took to his Twitter handle to post a training video from the sets of Soorma. He also said that this has been 'the toughest role' he has ever played till now. The video shows all the hard work and dedication Diljit had put into his role along with Sandeep's training session while shooting the video. "One of my toughest roles till date! LikeASoorma .@flickersingh paaji, thank you for mentoring me all the way! #Soorma" Dosanjh tweeted. The Proper Patola singer not only got trained personally by the former captain to endeavor Sandeep Singh, but also went through a complete physical transformation in order to look like the player. Moreover, he also adapted the life of an athlete to justify his performance in Soorma. The movie trailer collected massive appreciation from all over the world. It is an inspirational movie which shows the true life story of Sandeep Singh, who pulled out a miraculous recovery after an unfortunate mishappening. Soorma is a biopic which depicts Sandeep's personal as well as professional phases of his life. It shows the struggle he underwent to get back on his own feet even after being paralysed for two years. Sandeep is renowned globally for his remarkable scoring technique in hockey which is considered to be one of the world's most dangerous drag-flickers. His drag speed 145 km/hr has entitled Sandeep to the nickname 'Flicker Singh'. Along with Diljit Dosanjh, Soorma also Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi. Helmed by Shaad Ali, the movie will hit the cinema halls on 13 July.
