The Pollywood superstar who has now won the hearts of the entire nation is none other than Diljit Dosanjh. His rise to fame can only be attributed to the hard work and determination he has put in. As a singer and actor, Diljit has given his sweat and blood to ensure that perfection is attained in every of his work. To this end, he had to undergo certain body transformation to achieve the perfect look of a sportsman for the biopic of Hockey player Sandeep Singh. Titled 'Soorma', Diljit Dosanjh had to push himself to all the limits. Physically, it was very tough. I had a lot of problems post shooting the film. When I was shooting, I had stopped consuming sugar, I used to eat salt very less...Because we wanted the physique of an athlete in a very short time, I pushed my body a lot to achieve that result. Although his aim was achieved, the aftermath of the body transformation was not pleasant at all. He further said, When the film got over and I started eating normally, I got swelling on my hands, face and all over the body...There was a reaction. When you reduce the intake of salt, the water in your body doesn’t stay and you get cramps”. Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh is soaring high on success with his latest film Sajjan Singh Rangroot. From Bollywood to Pollywood, he has received praises as the film has set a benchmark in the Punjabi cinema. On the work front, he is also busy with the shoot for Arjun Patiala starring Kriti Sanon while he awaits the release of 'Soorma' on the 29th of June, 2018.
