Diljit Dosanjh is not a new name for us. The singer turned actor has made a great space in the hearts of his fans from his quirky comic style acting not just in Punjabi but also in Hindi cinema. Now, we have a great piece of news for all his fans as the actor has bagged another big Bollywood project.
For the first time, Diljit will be seen opposite Yami Gautam in an upcoming comedy film. The film will mark the directorial debut of Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon. Aziz is the one who launched our very own King Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) with his show Circus. The filmmakers have collaborated with the superstar for movies such as 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Yes Boss', 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani' and 'Chalte Chalte'.
Confirming the news, Ramesh Taurani, who will be producing this yet to be titled film told a leading daily;

He also added that the film has an interesting story and will go on floors in August. The movie is one of the last films penned by 'Hera Pheri' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s screenplay writer Neeraj Vora who passed away in 2017 after he had slipped into coma in October 2016. He has co-written the script with Vibha Singh and Arshad Sayed.
Diljit Dosanjh made his big Bollywood debut with Abhishek Chaubey’s 2016 crime drama Udta Punjab. The singer, who has mesmerized us several times with his melodious voice has two Bollywood films lined up for release this year.
