The sordid example is Punjabi industry's superstar Diljit Dosanjh who has carved his niche in the B-town and has indeed taken it by storm. The Punjabi lad had started his Bollywood career with Udta Punjab, re-appeared on the silver screen alongside Anushka Sharma in Phillauri. Now, he has some of the most awaited projects of 2018 in his kitty. While we are all looking forward to the release of Welcome To New York this 23rd February, another Dosanjh-starrer went on floor this Tuesday on Valentine's Day. Diljit started shooting for 'Arjun Patiala' in Chandigarh. He will be seen opposite Kriti Sanon in the comedy film which is being directed by Rohit Jugraj, who has worked with Dosanjh in Sardaar Ji series. The movie which is being produced by Maddock films along with Bhushan Kumar's T-Series label. 'Arjun Patiala' will mark Kriti's second collaboration with Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films after her last outing Raabta. Our Punjabi star, Diljit Dosanjh, will play the character of a small town guy alongside Kriti, who will be seen playing a journalist. The film will also star Fukrey-fame comedian, Varun Sharma in a pivotal role. In fact, from the first look of the film shared by Sanon on her Instagram, the Diljit Dosanjh is seen in the avatar of a cop and the look has garnered thumbs-up from all his admirers. The star has his hands full with projects as his another film, biopic on Hockey legend Sandeep Singh, Soorma is set to release 29th June 2018 which also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
