Diljit Dosanjh's next song is going to be a banger; deets inside

After a certain point in their careers, the artists of the entertainment industry become brands in themselves. Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have a massive fan following, not just in the country but all across the world. Over a period of time, there are many Punjabi artists who proved their worth in the field of entertainment.

One such artist is Diljit Dosanjh who, after ruling over the region with his charming looks and oh-so-melodious voice, is now ruling all over the country. The singer shared information about his new song on his Instagram handle.


Though the title of the song has not been revealed yet, but we do know that the lyrics of the song have been written by ace Punjabi lyricist, Happy Raikoti. Sukh Sanghera is the director of the forthcoming song and Roopi Gill will be featuring in the video. It will be released under the official music label of Saga Music.

Diljit’s last song was ‘Muchh’ which received humungous applause from the Diljit-Dosanjh loyalists. Song was penned by Kaptaan, The Boss gave music and the video was directed by Navjit Buttar.

The ‘Jind Mahi’ fame singer-turned-actor will also be seen in the new Bollywood flick titled ‘Good Newwz. The actor will be sharing the screen with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. Raj Mehta being the man behind the direction is all pumped for the film to release on 27th December this year.


This will be the second time that Diljit will be sharing the silver screen with the 'Begum of Bollywood'. It was in his debut Hindi film, ‘Udta Punjab’ where he got the big opportunity to share the screen space with Bebo. The film was a massive hit and Diljit’s Bollywood career went upward and onwards thereafter.  

He went on to do major projects and was accepted with open arms by the masses all over the country.

Despite gaining immense popularity he, however, did not forget his roots, and continued doing Punjabi projects alongside. His latest Punjabi film, ‘Shadaa’ became the first Punjabi film to cross the margin of Rs 50 crore. He was seen opposite the ultimate diva of the Punjabi industry, Neeru Bajwa. Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film garnered lauds from the critics and the fans alike.
