FARHAN AKHTAR STARTS PREPARING FOR 'THE SKY IS PINK'

Shonali Bose's upcoming project is based on the story of late Aisha Chaudhary and the title of the film is 'The Sky Is Pink'. Aisha suffered from the problem of pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13 years. But she did not let the problem defeat her spirit and she became a inspirational speaker. She also authored a book titled 'My Little Epiphanies'. But Aisha's problem consumed her compeltely and she died at a young age of 19 years in January 2018. [caption id="attachment_43626" align="alignnone" width="3264"]farhan akhtar Source[/caption] The major role of Aisha will be portrayed by Dangal and Superstar actress Zaira Wasim and PrIyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will be portraying the role of her parents. They will be seen together after Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do which was a tremendous hit in 2015. Other than Priyanka and Farhan, the audience also saw Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah as the lead actors in Dil Dhadakne Do. Priyanka and Zaira have already attended Shonali's workshop for the better understanding of the film. At that time Farhan was in Europe where he was shooting for a music video. But the actor has returned back to Mumbai and has started preparing for the film. Whilst sharing the photo, his caption read, "It all starts here. Thank you #ShonaliBose for trusting me with this beautiful story. #fromtheheart." Other than Farhan's other projects, his film titled Gold will be releasing on 15th August, and has Akshay Kumar in the pivotal role. The film is helmed by Reema Kagti and also stars popular face of TV, Mouni Roy. Ither than Akshay and Mouni, the audience will also get to see Kunal Kapoor and Amit Sadh in the lead roles. The film is based on the time when team Indian won an Olympic gold medal for the first time after getting independence in 1948.
