Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, accepted the fitness challenge given to him by Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Kohli had challenged him in May, and Modi ji had accepted the challenge saying, “Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon.” https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/1006739708670455810 And finally, the Prime Minister posted a video of him doing yoga on his Twitter account. In the video, PM Modi is seen wearing black exercising dress and is seen doing some yoga asanas and other exercises too. In the video, he also walks on a path which has been made around a tree, doing stretching exercises and sitting on the rock while meditating. He is seen balancing himself while walking on the narrow path. PM Modi in his message said “extremely refreshing and rejuvenating” after the morning exercises. He is a very strong supporter of yoga and believes that it is the key for good health. [caption id="attachment_39359" align="alignnone" width="554"]modi collage Source[/caption] Other than doing yoga, the Prime Minister also walked on the track which has been made from getting inspired from Panchtatvs or the 5 elements of nature- Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, and Aakash. He also does breathing exercises for staying fit. He also enticed all the Indians for dedicating some time from the day for fitness. He said,

“Practice any set of exercises you are comfortable with and you will see the positive difference it will make in your life!”
Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore took the initiative of starting this fitness challenge. He took to his Twitter and requested everyone to live a healthy and a fitter lifestyle. Prime Minister shared this video just a week before the International Yoga Day which is on 21st June. This time Modi ji will be attending the day in Dehradun where the yoga day celebrations will be held at the Forest Research Institute ground in the capital of the state. Other than the Prime Minister, numerous other Bollywood celebrities accepted the fitness challenge and posted their videos and pictures of them whilst exercising. He posted a video of himself doing push-ups which was extremely impressive. He captioned it saying
“Post pictures and videos of how you keep yourself fit and send a #FitnessChallenge to your friends on social media.”
He nominated Indian ace cricketer Virat Kohli, Indian’s superstar, Hrithik Roshan and International Badminton player, Saina Nehwal. All these celebs accepted the challenge and nominated others like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor among many others. Previously when Akshay Kumar’s film Padman was released, the Bollywood celebrities came together and accepted the PADMAN challenge. It was started by Arunachalam Muruganantham. This was done for spreading awareness about the use of sanitary napkins.
