Not too long ago, the world had gone crazy when Arjun Kapoor wore High Heels in Ki & Ka and grooved to the catchy number. Little did we realize that it was a rendition of 2012's chartbuster High Heels sung by Punjabi singer, Jaz Dhami, who popularised folk-hop genre in the industry. Featuring Yo Yo Honey Singh, this song has been a party anthem for last six years. This song may have been his claim-to-fame moment in the industry, but the singer has proved his talent time and again. And now he is back with his track 'Kiwe Dassa'.
Kiwe Dassa is a romantic beat number. A perfect track for modern-day romances, it is shot beautifully in exotic locations. The lyrics of the song have been penned down by Jaz himself, alongside PropheC, SP and Alan Sampson. The song is a Saavn Original and also released on Jaz Dhami's YouTube channel. Not only the lyrics, but the music is catchy enough to make you hum along. It is mixed and mastered by ADP and Streaky respectively.
You can tune into the song right here:
Jaz Dhami was born in Punjab and grew up in Birmingham, England. He is a singer, music composer, music producer and after watching 'Kiwe Dassa' we can definitely vouch for his acting skills as well. He had started his musical journey in 2008 but gained fame after collaborating with Yo Yo Honey Singh. This collab took him to Bollywood, eventually, but his road to success was not an easy one.
He has collaborated with the musical sensations like Dr. Zeus, Raftaar, Tigerstyle, Ikka, Meet Bros and others in his decade long career in the industry. In fact, he is one of the few desi stars who has also performed alongside international artists like Pharrell Williams, Kiley Minogue, One Direction, Elton John, Chris Martin, etc. He has also made his mark in B-Town with Sanam Re's Humne Pee Rakhi Hai, with Neha Kakkar and Ikka as his co-signers.
