Or someone inspired you at a certain time and you decided to make a career in this glamorous world? Well, not really. I am a graduate in Mathematics and I’m also a post graduate. But while I was working, a member of the management company noticed me, hence giving me my first break. Was it always easy for you to face the camera? Or you took some time to adjust? It was not very difficult. But once I started working, I got used to it and gradually I could face it without any nervousness. How did you get your 1st break? In ads, as I told you earlier, someone noticed me from the product company and like that I got break in the ads. In the films, producers and directors noticed me few ads, saw the potential in me and hence gave me movie roles. What was your reaction when you saw yourself on the big screen for the first time? I can’t explain you that feeling. It was just amazing. In fact, 'Daakuan Da Munda' was the first film which I had seen with the audience and saw their live reactions. And the kind of love they were giving to the film really filled my heart. Were your parents of this career option? Yes, they have always been extremely supportive of my career choices. You’re from Delhi so how did you get your first break in Cleopatra, which happens to be your Malayalam film opposite Manoj Jain? Actually, I’ve done numerous ads in South. So the producers noticed me in the ad films and that is how I got my first Malayalam film. How did you cope with the language? Was it a barrier in your work? Yes. See it was difficult in coping up with the language, because staying in Delhi was used to listening to Punjabi and Hindi. So we had translators on sets which would help me out with the dialogues. [caption id="attachment_46914" align="alignnone" width="346"] Source[/caption] How was it working with some of the top notch names of the Punjabi entertainment industry like Honey Singh, Garry Sandhu and Preet Harpal? It was a wonderful experience working with topnotch singers of Pollywood like Honey Singh, Garry Sandhu, Satinder Sartaaj, Kamalheer, Preet Harpal. What is more interesting- working in an ad or a music video? I like working in both. I just love my work. Yeah in music videos I get to dance and give various expressions which I love the most unlike an ad film where I am restricted to in regards to expressions. You have also worked in Hindi serial, Naamkaran. What was the experience? It was a privilege to work with some of the most talented and renowned names of the industry like late Reema Lagoo ji, Barkha Sengupta, Viraf Patel and the one and only Mahesh Bhatt Sir. It was a good learning experience for me. How did you get your break in Baaz, which also happenes to be your debut Punjabi film? Actually, here also the producer noticed me. They called me for discussing the role, and the next moment I knew I was sitting with Babbu Maan ji for doing a romantic scene with him. I was very nervous but he always calmed me down and let me take my time for preparation of the shot. You’ve written a story for the film Wedding Pulav. Would you also like to write some stories for the films in near future? No. Please this is not true. I have not written the story of Wedding Pulav. And about writing, I’ve never thought about it, but now will give it some thinking. If not acting, then what would have been your career? Nothing. Today I can’t see myself doing anything else but acting. Please share with us your experience of working with Dev Kharoud and Jagjeet Sandhu. Working with both of them was amazing. Dev and Jagjeet both are very professional and both are extremely particular about their shots.
