GABRUU CONGRATULATES 'SARGUN MEHTA' ON HER FOURTH CONSECUTIVE WIN | GABRUU

Sargun Mehta is the artist who stole the hearts of millions of people around the world, thanks to her world-class acting skills. She is also a television actress, model, and a host too. She started her career as an actor in 2009 when she was first seen in Zee Tv’s 12/24 Karol Bagh. After that, she was seen in various other significant roles on television.


And recently, at the PTC Awards night, the actress won Best Actress for her role as Bani in ‘Qismat’, in which she was seen sharing the screen with Ammy Virk. Qismat was one of the highest grossing Punjabi films of all times. The film was directed by Jagdeep Sidhu and was backed by Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula, Jatinder Aulukh and Shubham Goyal.

But this is not the first time that Sargun has won the Best Actress award. She has been awarded the Best Actress award at the PTC Awards consecutively for the last four years for her outstanding work in the Punjabi cinema.

Angrej was the first film for which she was awarded Best Actress award for her role as Dhann Kaur. Later on, she went on receiving this award for her roles as Jessica Brar in ‘Love Punjab’, Amiran in ‘Lahoriye’ and Bani in ‘Qismat’.


Sargun also shared a post on her Instagram handle where she said

Its not a good looking picture but its a picture filled with love, a journey of the last 4 years in punjab.

Sargun stepped in the world of Punjabi entertainment with her debut film titled ‘Angrej’ (2015) in a role named Dhann Kaur. The film was the second highest grossing Punjabi film of the year. The film was directed by SImerjit Singh and was backed by Jaspal Sandhu, Amarbir Sandhu, Aman Khatkar and Sameer Dutts.


And now, Sargun is keeping busy with the shoot of her upcoming Punjabi film, Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh. In the film, she will be seen opposite Gippy Grewal, and the film is being helmed by Karan R Guliani and is being backed by Leostride Entertainment. The film is being presented by Sumit Dutt and Dreambook Productions.

Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh will be hitting the theatres on 24 May 2019.
