The makers of the upcoming biopic based on the Param Vir Chakra recipient Subedar Joginder Singh has been the first Punjabi film to be the talk of B-Town. And why won't it be, it stars Gippy Grewal in the lead role, with a number of prominent actor-singers from the Punjabi entertainment industry. Other than Gippy Grewal you'll see Harish Verma, Roshan Prince, Jordan Sandhu, Karamjit Anmol, Rajvir Jawanda, Guggu Gill among others in the film. Well, the first track 'Gal Dil Di' from the film has been released and will definitely remind you of the heart-touching track 'Sandese Aate Hai' from the 1997 film 'Border'. The song has been crooned by Gippy Grewal along with Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, and Sharan Maan. It has been penned by singer Kulwinder Billa himself and portrays all the singer-actors except singer Jordan Sandhu who plays the role of PVC Joginder Singh in the film. Subedar Joginder Singh and his brave battalion had sacrificed their lives during the Indo-China border conflict of 1962 and were awarded posthumously for their valor in the battlefield. The film has recreated original ambiance by shooting at locations in Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir.
