Nowadays it is pretty common in the B-town where we get to hear a revamped version of an old song. From ‘Dum Maro Dum’ to ‘Aankh Maare’, ‘Mehbooba’ to the recent one ‘Poster Lagwa Do’ from the upcoming movie ‘Lukka Chuppi’ Bollywood’s remake game is on.
Now, seems like our Punjabi music Industry is also not lagging behind. A while ago we heard Punjabi music industry's gen-next talent Gurnazar in the song ‘Kudi Kudi’ which was originally released in the year 1999.
Another Punjabi hit song which has been recreated is ‘Tera Yaar Bolda’. The original song was sung by Surjit Bindrakhia and the one who has put his magic to this old song is none other than his own son Gitaz Bindrakhia.
The new song has music done by Snappy and the lyrics are penned down by Rav Hanjra. The song has been released on the official YouTube channel of T-Series Apna Punjab and it is already trending at number three on the YouTube charts.
If we talk about his musical career, he started his career with his debut song titled ‘Jind Mahi’ which was appreciated worldwide by everyone. He also recreated one of his father’s classic songs, ‘Mukhda Dekh K’ and also sang some amazing numbers like ‘Doesn’t Matter’, ‘Jhooth’, ‘Sat Rand Da Dupatta’, ‘Pasand Jatt Di’, ‘Haan Karda’ and various others. His last song ‘Yaari Vs Dollar was released on 26th January ie on Republic Day.
