GOOGLE DOODLE IS ALL ABOUT SYMBOLIC COLORS THIS HOLI

Google is one of the most used search engines in the world. Every day, millions of people use it to acquire new information. So useful that when a question is asked, a reply could be ‘ask Google’. For the past few months, Google has been observing important dates to celebrate with India and Asia as a whole, events, and people which have got historical and even religious importance. Today which marks the festival of colors, Holi, an Indian spring festival, it is being celebrated by Google. The Google doodle which is the image we see on the webpage, just above where we type keywords, has got an amazing art of men and women in various colors hitting on the drums and other instruments. The Google doodle as reported by a leading daily was designed by the graphic designer Amrita Marino, based in New York. While describing the doodle, Google said, "These traditional drummers move from house to house, adding a peppy, musical touch to the day’s festivities. The four main powder colors carry with them a piece of symbolism. Red signifies love and fertility, yellow is the color of turmeric, a natural remedy, blue represents the beloved Krishna, green symbolizes spring and new beginnings”. Holi is a festival that occurs in spring and is celebrated every year to mark the end of the harvest season and also to celebrate the victory of good over evil. From the entire team of Gabruu.com, we join Google to wish everyone a happy Holi.
