We have almost come near to the Google Pixel 4 launch event which is scheduled for tomorrow i.e. October 15th. Previously, we have seen many leaked images and other previews of what the new smartphone will look like and what other products Google is launching this year. Let's know more about the smartphone and other upcoming Google hardware products like Pixelbook Go, Pixel Buds and much more is expected.
Google Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL Smartphone
This could be the most talked-about phone ever by Google. The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have new designs with some changes to the camera and setup. Major changes are expected in the camera performance with some enhancements and tweaked algorithms driven by new hardware and software.
Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have a two rear camera setup with 12 megapixel and 16-megapixel resolution sensors. It seems like the camera placement will look similar to Apple iPhone 11's rear camera setup. This is the big upgrade as previously Google incorporated a single camera on its Pixel devices and those were considered the best.
The additional rear camera on the bigger Google Pixel 4 XL will work on an optimized camera software called 'astrophotography', a dedicated night more for night sky photography.
In the selfie department, smartphones will sport an 8-megapixel front camera.
Google has previously confirmed the new Soli radar-based motion sensor chip which will enable the air gestures. Face recognition is also going to get a bigger update and will be far more efficient with security.
Google Assistant will get a revamped gesture via which any user can just raise to wake up the digital assistant instead of tapping a button or using voice commands.
Google Pixel 4 will have a 5.7-inch Full HD+ screen however the bigger sibling will get a 6.3-inch QHD+ screen. The smaller Pixel 4 will get its power from 2800 mAh battery and 3700 mAh battery for the bigger Google Pixel 4 XL.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or 855+ processor will power both the devices and they will come with a memory of up to 6 GB of RAM and a maximum of 256 GB of in-built storage which will be based on UFS 3.0 technology for faster throughput speeds.
Google Pixelbook Go
Google has shifted its focus on laptops and is expected to launch a new Pixelbook Go.
The Pixelbook Go has already been leaked ahead of its launch and we found the looks to be similar to that of Apple's Macbook but with a much-improved trackpad and premium design.
The same will be powered by Intel Core m3, i5, and i7 processors with a maximum storage of 256 GB. It will incorporate dual front-facing speakers with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for Skype video calls and others.
It will boast a 13.3 inch Full HD screen and also will come with 4K resolution variant. The device will sport a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type C for transfer and charging capability along with a Titan C security chip.
Google Pixel Buds
We are also expected to see the launch of new age earbuds which can be called as the Pixel Buds 2. The Pixel Buds will come with Google Assistant integration and smart buttons with Type C support for fast charging.
