GURU RANDHAWA TALKS SUCCESS, PUNJABI MUSIC'S ESSENCE AND VULGARITY IN PUNJABI SONGS!

Guru Randhawa is a name that needs no introduction. The singer in just a year has become a worldwide name. Not that he wasn't famous earlier, he was a big name in the Punjabi Industry. But now he is a Bollywood Boy. Starting from the 2017 hit movie Hindi Medium, Guru has now sung songs for movies like Simran, Tumhari Sulu, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dil Juunglee and Blackmail. Punjabi songs have always been an integral part of Bollywood. Recreating old songs, or bringing in fresh ones Bollywood movies always have a Punjabi touch. Guru Randhawa who is currently ruling the Punjabi music scene in Bollywood in an interview with IANS said,

With the change in the culture of the town (Bollywood), people are preferring and enjoying party songs. So I am glad to see the people grooving to and loving the Punjabi tunes. I also personally feel that Punjabi songs have a different vibe and energy, which helps in lifting one's mood completely

He said that his journey has been full of challenges which helped him to do better. He also said that he is constantly trying to bring a new vibe to the Punjabi music.
With the traditional rigid Punjabi music, people always had a myth that the music is very conventional, but nowadays we are really thrilled to see how people are loving the tunes and beats of Punjabi music.
Guru further added,
I am really happy to see my fans enjoying my music and loving the music I make. I hope I keep giving the industry and the people out there such music to enjoy

We just want to create fun songs. There is nothing specific that we talk about in our music
