Amid the speculation comes on her next featured movie on the biopic of Kalpana Chawla. But, now there is no such happening, reported DNA. Kalpana's husband Jean-Pierre Harrison has denied giving away the rights. The director Priya Mishra was working on the script for around seven years and along with it was waiting for the permissions as well. Further, the report provides the description, as quoted, “After Kalpana’s demise, all rights associated with her estate are said to have been transferred to Harrison and no one else besides him can give the permission to make the film. Even though Priya may have got the go-ahead from Kalpana’s father, it seems that alone may not be enough to make the biopic. Priyanka’s team has tried to acquire the said rights from Harrison, but apparently, he hasn’t agreed to grant them yet.”
Kalpana Chawla, a renowned personality, hailed from Haryana was the first Indian woman astronaut in space. She died in February 2003 after the shuttle exploded, where he had spent 31 days, 14 hours and 54 minutes in space. [caption id="attachment_35623" align="aligncenter" width="1280"]
