Kicked off by the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi clean India campaign was initiated to make Indian cities clean and to make people aware about the benefits of cleaner surroundings. This campaign was supported by many celebs when they went out of their comfort zones to clean the beaches.
Recently, Shahid Kapoor was spotted on a Mumbai beach where he contributed in cleaning the Mumbai beaches just after the Ganpati Visarjan. Shah Rukh Khan recently took to his Instagram where he requested all his fans to make Indian streets cleaner.
Apart from the B-towners, there are a few Punjabi celebs too who marked their presence in a clean India drive by a leading news channel. Harrdy Sandhu who is enjoying the success of his latest track Kya Baat Ay was recently spotted at a clean India Campaign. The singer was here for the closing ceremony of NDTV's Banega Swachh India.
The event also marked the presence of Namastey England actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra where they spoke about the issue. Many B-town biggies such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Vicky Kaushal, Amitabh Bachchan, Sukhwinder Singh, Ankit Tiwary and Tapsee Pannu to name few.
It's good to see these celebs coming forward for a cleaner India as the fans see them as their role models. Such kind of events will definitely bring a change in society.
