Harshdeep Kaur brings music fraternity together for 550th Guru Nanak birth anniversary


The world is going to celebrate Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji 550th birth anniversary on the coming 12th November. Pakistan has opened its borders for the pilgrims which are going to come from all around the world. This is a big festival for the Sikh community, therefore, there is a lot of excitement among the people. 


People, especially in Punjab are much more enthusiastic, hence a lot of singers have released a special song to dedicate on his birth anniversary. Keeping up with the trend, Harshdeep Kaur, a Bollywood Sufi singer, has brought a number of singers and music composers from the music fraternity together to create a special song which they have dedicated to Guru Nanak dev Ji on his birth anniversary.



Singers like Shekhar Ravijani, Shaan, Richa Sharma, Jaspinder Narula, Sukhshinder Shinda, Shankar Mahadevan, Salim Merchant along with Kapil Sharma and Neeti Mohan and Harshdeep Kaur herself have lent their voice for "SATGURU NANAK AAYE NE". Jagmeet Bal has directed the video of the song apart from writing the lyrics along with Charanjit Singh while the music and production department has been handled by Harshdeep Kaur herself.
