 First Punjabi film on the topic of war from world war 1 is all set for its release, 'Sajjan Singh Rangroot' will be releasing worldwide on the martyrdom day of legendary martyr Bhagat Singh, mark the date March 23 this year. Starring singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and prominent Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma the official trailer of the film will be releasing on February 6 at 10'o'clock in the morning. Renowned singer Sunanda Sharma is making her acting debut with this film. Sharing the first look poster of the film on his official Insta handle Diljit quoted;

Not much has been done on them in cinema. When I go to England, I meet several people who tell me stories of their bravery". The actor had also admitted that he has been wanting to do this movie since last four years. A Pankaj Batra directorial the film also stars veteran actor Yograj Singh, Jagjeet Sandhu, Jarnail Singh and  Dheeraj Kumar in pivotal roles. Sajjan Singh Rangroot’ has been written by Gurpreet Singh Palheri, the movie is a tribute to the sacrifice of the Sikh soldiers on the foreign lands during world war 1.
