Satinder Sartaaj’s album Seasons of Sartaaj has successfully released its three songs ‘Aarsi’, ‘Tere Vaastey’ and ‘Main te meri Jaan’. The fourth one in the queue was ‘Nilami’ which has just released today. The song reflects three stories. “In the video, the first story is at St George school, Mussoorie, while the second is at a raw village in Malwa, Punjab and third is set in Faisalabad, Pakistan,” says Sartaaj. The song was composed by him two and half years ago. The lyrics for the song have been penned down by none other than Satinder Sartaaj, the music for which has been given by Jatinder Shah. In the video, opposite Satinder Sartaaj will be seen ex-roadies contestant Pratima Dagar. Talking about the delay of song Sartaaj said that “It’s a literary and deep meaning song, which I felt will not find many takers to release commercially in contemporary times when so much music is commercial”. The song is a soothing Punjabi number with some tints of sufi touch in it. We love it’s music and the composition of the song, and we’re sure when you will hear this number you are also going to love it. Listen here.
