And it's finally out! After months of anticipation, the much-awaited teaser of Kabir Singh is here and believe us this one-minute-long teaser is enough to get a glimpse of his character in the film. The upcoming flick is an official Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda's blockbuster film Arjun Reddy.

Starring Shahid Kapoor, while the film revolves around a medical student who has major anger management issues and also becomes an alcoholic due to his failed relationship. The teaser gives a gripping sneak-peek into Shahid's deadly transformation as a hardcore alcoholic. Few seconds into the video and you will know what we are trying to say!

Although this is just the teaser but after watching the teaser one can safely say that there couldn't have been a better choice than Shahid to step into Vijay Deverakonda's shoes. The aggression, the attitude and the way he screams his lungs out in anger will instantly leave an impact on you and make you want to watch more of this. Watch teaser;

However, having said that, it's left to see how much do the makers replicate the story as per the original Arjun Reddy. Not to mention, Kiara Advani, who plays Shahid's love interest in the film, has just about a few seconds of screen-space in this teaser but those few seconds are enough to establish her helpless character.

Earlier, when Shahid was asked what prompted him to take up Arjun Reddy remake, he had said;

"I usually don’t watch too many films in Telugu and it surprised me with its tonality, rawness, simplicity and the fact that it was so real and believable. The character is very fascinating for me as an actor because the emotional arc... is very original. I loved it and Vijay Deverakonda, who played Arjun, did it so well."

 While it's left to see how convincingly Shahid lives up to the original. The actor recently confessed,

" I think Kabir Singh is very special and Arjun Reddy was amazing. As such it's very stressful making the remake, especially when it has been loved so much."

The film is all set to hit the screens on June 21, 2019.
