'HICHKI' TRAILER: RANI MUKERJI LOOKS PROMISING IN HER COME BACK, TELLS AN INSPIRING STORY

A new Bollywood trailer has just been released. Directed by Siddarth P. Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma, the trailer of the film ‘Hichki’ is a must watch. Starring Rani Mukerji as Naina Mathur, the 'Hichki' trailer tells about a young lady who believes she was "born to be a teacher" despite suffering from Tourette syndrome, a neurological disorder. The film is the remake of the 2008 Hallmark movie 'Front of the Class'. Starring James Wolk, the film tells the true life story of Brad Cohen who despite being affected by Tourette Syndrome from childhood, defied all odds to become a great teacher. 'Hichki' tells the same story, only this time it is that the person who suffers from Tourette syndrome is a lady. Will Hichki filmmakers tell the story better? Will only be revealed once the movie sees a release. Rani Mukerji is a phenomenal actress who is involved in several humanitarian causes. She is a person who is vocal about issues affecting women and children in the society. Her last film 'Mardaani' in 2014 depicts all that she stands for. She played the role of a Maharashtrian Policewoman who was involved in a case of kidnap that eventually exposed secrets of human trafficking in India. Her role in this movie got her nominated for the best actress of that year in the Filmfare awards. Whether an inspiration or a copy, the film depicts the Indian system of education and how people are being cast because of their condition. Also, it is a way to create an awareness of Tourette syndrome, telling the need to treat those affected by it equally in the society. Furthermore, the film will definitely be an encouragement to many who face other health challenges. Looking so promising in her comeback, Rani Mukerji tells an inspiring story. “What is life without a few hiccups?” The film which is set to release on February 23, 2018, will definitely tell it.
