And all these factors in total have the tendency to make the skin dry and rough which leads to cracks and chapped skin.
Chapped hands make one look dull and also affect the overall appearance and personality of the person. So here we bring you some homemade remedies through which you can easily take care of your skin on the hands and treat the chapped hands too.
ROSE AND LEMON CREAM
Rose petals and lemon leaves are the only ingredients which are required for this cream. Add olive oil in a jar, fresh rose petals, and lemon peels into it. Store this mixture at a cold place and after one week’s time, filter the oil. Massage this oil every day on the chapped hands till the time you notice the difference in your hands.
BAKING SODA AND COCONUT OIL SCRUB
Baking soda has exfoliating properties which help in removing the dead skin which makes the skin look dull and dark. Coconut oil is a very good source of nourishment and moisturizing the skin. In a bowl, blend one-fourth cup of baking soda, half cup of coconut oil. Make sure to use coconut oil in its liquid form. Mix these well and apply this mixture on the hands and scrub it in the circular motion. And after half an hour of keeping the mixture on the hands, scrub it off with the help of lukewarm water.
COFFEE AND GRAPESEED OIL
Coffee is a natural exfoliating source which removes dead skin and helps in brightening the skin. The grapeseed oil when used on the skin helps in keeping the skin soft and supple. Mix 3 tbsp of coffee powder, 1 tbsp grapeseed oil in a bowl and apply this mixture on the chapped parts of the hands. Gentle massage it with the fingertips for 2-3 minutes. Let it be on the hands for some time and wash it off with cold water.
SEA SALT AND JOJOBA OIL
One of the best solutions to treat dry and chapped skin on the hands is sea salt. Mix half cup salt and one-fourth cup of jojoba oil. Apply this on the hands and massage for some time. wash it off after 30 minutes and with the help of lukewarm water.
