Diljit Dosanjh the sole ruler turbanator of Bollywood needs no introduction. He has proved his acting mantle in each and every project he put hands in. Pioneering from Mel Karade Rabba he never looked back in Pollywood. After putting his foot strong in Pollywood he turned to Bollywood with an award-winning performance in Udta Punjab along with Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor. Recently, he is working on three movies: Soorma opposite Tapsee Pannu and Welcome To New York starring Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar in Bollywood and a historic periodic drama Sajjan Singh Rangroot in Pollywood which will hit the theatres this year. Even before the release of these movies he has started working on his next venture, Arjun Patiala opposite Kriti Sanon. Despite his unprecedented acting chops, Diljit is first and foremost a melodious singer. It is his singing talent that has actually established him as a known face and won him fans and admirers across the globe. And the singer misses his 'riyaz' time a lot due to his commitments to the acting jobs. About his busy schedule, he mentioned in his interview with Hindustan times he quoted,
I miss my music immensely when I am working on films because the latter is very time-consuming. I regret when my fans tell me that they miss my music. I have actually not had much time to work on new songs. So, irrespective of where I shoot now, I try and work on music simultaneously. I collaborate with my music partners, who often travel to my shooting locations. Also, sometimes, when I am really sad, I just start working on my music. It makes me really happy. He quoted this because due to his busy schedule he is not able to give proper time to his music. He has lastly released his single Raat di Gedi after a long gap after El Sueno. Prior to this, he used to give back to back songs as Laembadgini, 5 Taara, Patiala Peg et el. Due to this gap, his music fans feel dissatisfied. This has left the singer-actor a bit sad. Well Mr. Dosanjh, we love you as a singer as well as an actor. Keep the good work coming.
