Celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar recently became a father through surrogacy and announced his parenthood, releasing an official statement about his newly born twins, Yash and Roohi, on a social networking site. The proud father finally took his babies home after the babies spent seven weeks under the doctors' care, they were kept under observation in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a suburban hospital in Mumbai. KJo had recently shared a moving post about how he was terrified on learning that his kids were born prematurely and were worryingly underweight. He added that all he wanted to do was "hold them and protect them". He wrote that he was terrified to know that there were complications during the birth of his twins and his heart sank. The filmmaker was seen carrying one of the babies in his arms as he made his way to the car, while the other baby was carried by a woman accompanying Karan.
