What an achievement! CWG 2018 sets a historical phase ever as India has grabbed 66 medals and maintained 3rd rank at the whole.
Indian shooters remained the most successful players at CWG. They won total of 16 medals. Well, players sparked in other games like table tennis, badminton, hockey, and more. The efforts of player in CWG 2018 are not only up to grabbing of medals, but records are set as well.
For instance, Apurvi Chandela has won bronze in 10m air rifle but her score 423 is a world record league. A 16-year old, Manu Bhaker set a record with a score 388. Anish Bhenwala, the wonder for India is the youngest to set a record on shooting. From Neeraj Chopra in Athletics to Mary Kom in Boxing to Rahul Aware in wrestling, India has bagged 26 gold medals.
Well, players have scored great on an international platform. Scoring 20 silver medals, India has proved its future in sports. Amazing! However, 20 Bronze cannot be neglected at all. It really needs hard efforts to bag such positions. Bingo! You players really made India proud.
