The power-packed singer of Bollywood Mika Singh is currently facing a lot of criticism. The singer will be performing at two American cities ahead of India's 70th Independence Day. He will be performing at Huston and Chicago on 12th and 13th of August. Prior his shows he posted a video on his social media where he could be seen encouraging his fans to attend his show. While requesting his fans, he said that on 12th and 13th we'll celebrate the independence of our nation. "Jaisa ki aap sab ko pata hai ki hamara Hindustaan 15 Aug ko azaad hua tha aur hamara Pakistan 14 Aug ko." https://twitter.com/MikaSingh/status/892495849267253248 What offended people was Mika saying 'Apna Pakistan' (Our Pakistan). In the video with Mika was also one of the organizers of the show who is of Pakistani descent according to the people. The Indian-Americans were not so happy with Mika's 'Apna Pakistan remark' and left some harsh statements.

Amee Patel, president Gujrat Samaj, Houston, said: “I do not agree with the statement released by Mika Singh. As an organization of Indian-origin (people), we fully stand behind our flag and our other Indian community organizations in protesting against this event and we do not support this event in any fashion.” Twitter has also raged over this and people have been using the words like 'Traitor' 'Gaddar' and 'Pakistani' to describe the singer. Some people also said that they will not attend Mika's shows to be held America. As the video went viral and trolls started to get heavy Mika removed the video from his social media then people started calling the singer a coward.
