2017 can be considered as a devastating year for the B-world. Many iconic actors such as Om Puri, Vinod Khanna, and Shashi Kapoor left for their heavenly adobe creating an irreplaceable void in the B-town. Other than them actor Inder Kumar's heavenly adobe after suffering a fatal heart attack and model Sonika Chauhan horrific accident shook Indians through their peace.
Vinod Khanna (6 October 1946 – 27 April 2017) was an Indian actor and producer of Bollywood films. He had received two Filmfare awards. He was also an active politician and was the MP from the Gurdaspur constituency between 1998–2009 and 2014–2017. In July 2002, Khanna became the minister for Culture and Tourism in the Atal Behari Vajpayee cabinet. Six months later, he became the Minister of State for external affairs.
Shashi Kapoor PB (born as Balbir Prithviraj Kapoor
; 18 March 1938 – 4 December 2017) was an Indian film actor and producer. He has appeared in near about 168 films in Hindi and English language. He was also a film director and assistant director in the Hindi film industry.
Om Prakash Puri (18 October 1950 – 6 January 2017) was an Indian actor who appeared in mainstream commercial Indian films, as well as independent and art films. He had various collaborations with director Shyam Benegal and Govind Nihalani. Puri also appeared in non-Indian productions in the United States, Britain, and Pakistan.
Reema Lagoo (21 June 1958 – 18 May 2017) was an Indian theatre and screen actress known for her work in Hindi and Marathi cinema. She began her acting career from acting in the Marathi theatre.

Inder Kumar (26 August 1973 – 28 July 2017) was an Indian actor best known for playing supporting roles in Hindi films such as Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi.
Thomas Beach Alter (22 June 1950 – 29 September 2017) was an Indian actor. He is best known for his work in Hindi cinema and the Indian theatre. In 2008, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.
Lekh Tandon (13 February 1929 – 15 October 2017) was an Indian filmmaker and actor. He had directed numerous Bollywood movies and Indian TV Serials. He had acted in movies such as Swades, Rang De Basanti, Chennai Express and Chaarfutiya Chhokare.
He was the brother of Urdu playwright Yograj Tandon.
