KAJOL IS AT HER BEST IN HER UPCOMING FILM 'HELICOPTER EELA'

The trailer of Kajol's upcoming film 'Helicopter Eela' was launched yesterday which coincided with the actress's birthday. The director, producers and cast of the film were present there. Ajay Devgn, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada are the produers of the film, while the film has been helmed by Pardeep Sarkar. Kajol, Riddhi Sen, Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Choudhury will be seen playing the pivotal roles in the film. Well talking about the trailer, by the look of it, it seems the kind of film which talks about the bond between a mother and a son especially when the mother (being played by Kajol) decides to join her son's college. She plays the role of a single mother who was a star during her youth days. But once she becomes a mother, her life starts revolving around her son Vivan. It was her son's idea for her to join the college and complete her studies. But once she joins the college, things start changing between the two when the son realises that her mother is everywhere. Neha Dhupia's dialogue in which she says, "Kisi ke peeche apni puri zindagi nikal dena theek hai yaar, par usse ghutann mehsoos hone lage, ye kaise theek hai yaar?" catches the attention. The film is all set to hit the theatres on 7th September. Kajol while talking about Pardeep Sarkar said,

"As a mother, I felt a real connection with Eela’s character. She loves her son unconditionally and has built her life around him. But as he grows up, she finds herself becoming more and more dispensable. She has also put her life and dreams on hold, like so many mothers do. This is a life situation that so many women face once their kids grow up. And, one that I will inevitably face is, what do I do now? How do I hold on to my baby? In a way, Helicopter Eela is a coming of age film, more for Eela rather than it is for her son!"
