Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who stepped into Bollywood with Ajay Devgn's London Dreams, made his presence felt in movies like Action Replayy, and Fitoor. The actor was widely loved for his role in Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2. It would not be wrong if we say that this film actually turned out to be a turning point of his acting career.
The actor will next be seen in the multi-starrer film, Kalank which is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Along with Aditya, the Abhishek Varman directorial will also star Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Sonakshi Sinha in vital roles. Talking about working in projects with other big stars, Aditya recently had an interview where the actor revealed that multi-starrer films excited him.
Aditya worked in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and will soon be seen in Mohit's Suri Malang, both of which are multi-starrer projects. On being asked if the actor should do solo-hero movies, Aditya replied by saying,
"On the contrary multi-starrer excites me. While it's great to have film revolving around a guy and one girl, today the audience wants to see experimental films on a large canvas. Also, it's easier when there is a large cast as the audience comes to watch the stories of multiple people. My film with Anurag Basu also has an ensemble cast, I'm excited to work with directors I've admired all my life, whether it's Bhatt Saab, in Sadak 2, Mohit Suri in Malang or Basu sir. These are opportunities I can't think of letting go."
Meanwhile, after Kalank, Adi will be seen in Mohit Suri's next which also stars Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu. Touted as a romantic horror film, Malang will mark Mohit and Aditya's second collaboration. Their first collaboration was Aashiqui 2, which became a massive hit. Malang is slated for a Valentines Day release next year.
