THIS IS WHY KARAN JOHAR DOES NOT LIKE PLAYING HOLI

A producer, director, costume designer, a television host, an actor and now also an RJ, are a few of his talents we mention about the successful filmmaker, Karan Johar. Known as an award-winning director for the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and My Name is Khan (2010), other great works as seen in films under his production banner, Dharma Productions has established him to be one of the leading directors and producers in Hindi Cinema. Now that Holi is around the corner, many are really excited and can't wait to have fun. However, Karan is one celebrity who does not like to play with colors during Holi. As reported by a leading daily, Karan Johar while shooting for the Holi episode of the reality television show 'India's Next Superstar', shared reasons why he does not like to play with colors. He was quoted saying, "When I was six or seven years old, kids in my colony ran behind me to put silver paint on me. Trying to save myself, I fell down and hurt myself and ended up in a fight with the other kids."  Ok, now that is a good enough reason. As a kid getting injured for something with all the fear can probably cause a phobia. However, the second reason is quite funny and that is what Amitabh Bachchan once did to him. From the same source, he was quoted saying, "I fondly remember visiting Amitji's house for Holi when I was 10 years old. I told him why I feared the festival so much. That's when Abhishek came inside the room, picked me up and threw me in a pool of colored water. That was the end of my love for Holi and I haven't played ever since." We bet you are laughing at how fearful Karan is and how mischievous Abhishek can be. Well, we bet you can see yourself in either of the two friends. We are sure that Holi preparations at your end are in full swing and from the entire Gabruu.com team, we wish you a very happy Holi in advance.
