As reported by a leading online entertainment portal, Karan made the statement after one of the contestants performed an act based on a Pansy man who loved dancing. Karan further said that "This performance took me back to my childhood days... I used to dance on girls' songs and my friends used to make fun of me. Upset about this, I went to an elocution teacher at the age of 13 and she said, ‘Why do you want to change the way talk, you're just fine'. That's when I gathered the courage to face the world." As the saying goes, "we are happier when we accept the things we cannot change" has been proven to be true by Karan. Still speaking, he said, "Today if I was still talking like that I wouldn't change it. Even if one of my kids talk or walk like that, I wouldn't change them". Undoubtedly, Karan Johar has been through some ugly experiences while growing. Nevertheless, he is an inspiration to many. ALSO READ: THIS IS WHY KJO DOES NOT LIKE PLAYING HOLI
