There is one such ace director in our Punjabi entertainment industry who has presented historical and epic stories from the past in the most interesting ways. His last movie ‘The Black Prince’ was one of them which also received international recognition. We are talking about the very famous and talented director ‘Kavi Raz’.
A few months back the director had announced another historical pictorial titled as ‘Sarabha Cry For Freedom’. The movie will be revolving around the ‘Ghadar Movement’ and the life of freedom fighter ‘Kartar Singh Sarabha’.
Recently the movie has started shooting for its second schedule in Surrey, British Columbia. Check out this latest picture from the shoot of the movie;
The movie stars young and talented actor Japtej Singh who has already impressed the audience with his acting skills in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Son of Manjeet Singh. Other than Japtej Singh the movie also features Mukuldev and Jobanpreet Singh in interesting roles. Joban Preet Singh who is playing an important part in the movie 'Sarabha' will also be seen soon in a lead role in the upcoming period drama 'Saak' where he has been paired opposite ace actress Mandy Takhar.
The movie is being produced by Kuldeep Sharma, Sarbjit Hundal and Jatinder Jay Minhas which is scheduled to hit the theater screens on 17th May.
Sometime back actor Mukuldev also took to his Instagram account and said-
"Harnam Singh Tundilat-the armless lord. The epithet contains an ironic allusion to Sir Henry Hardinge governor-general of India who lost an arm during the Napoleonic wars. A revolutionary and a poet. #sarabha"

About the Ghadar Movement: In the book of India’s freedom struggle, the Ghadar Movement is a pivotal episode. It all began when a ship was returning to India with Indian immigrants and en-route a lot of passengers were killed or arrested in a clash with the British authorities. This incident made the Ghadar Party furious and they declared a war, which inspired thousands of Indian immigrants to form an armed rebellion against British imperialism. However, the movement was crushed eventually.
Now hearing all this do let us know in the comments section below that how excited are you all to witness this historical drama.
