KNOW THE MAKING OF 'MAUJI' IN THIS BTS VIDEO FROM THE SETS OF 'SUI DHAAGA'

Makers of Sui Dhaaga- Made In  India are leaving no stone unturned in creating buzz about the film. Recently, they have shared a new video where the leading man of the film Varun Dhawan has revealed about working in the film. A couple of days back Varun Dhawan made headlines by gifting a self-tailored shirt to his dad David Dhawan on his birthday. Now, in a new video shared by YRF's official YouTube channel Varun told how difficult it was for him to play a tailor in the film. Varun shared that how the film's director Sharat Katariya was very much serious about me to do this workshop. The actor also told that how he hurt himself while he was trying to put a thread into the needle. The actor said; "I knew that I had a task in hand. I knew I had to master the art to convince people that I am a real 'Masterji'. Darshan (the costume designer) and Noor Bhai (the tailor on the sets) helped me a lot and I gave it three months to learn this skill. As an actor, I like to get challenged to become someone else on-screen'. Varun further reveals that the experience of learning how to tailor wasn't easy at all. https://youtu.be/h9Xe70c9yyk "It was frustrating because initially, I wasn't getting it right. The needle pierced my fingers multiple times. (But) I'm so glad that I went through the drill because I have picked up a new skill in the process. It took me 3 months... Sometimes 2 hours and sometimes 4 hours in each tailoring class to get the confidence that I could pull this off in front of the camera," Varun added claiming that he is now very comfortable on the sewing machine. Sui Dhaaga is slated for release on 28th September. The film stars Varun Dhawan as (Mauji the tailor) and Anushka Sharma as his wife. The actor has proved his talent from the very first film. Recently, he was seen in Shoojit Sircar's October.
