WOW! THIS GIRL FROM KURUKSHETRA BECOMES THE FIRST SIKH GIRL TO BE SELECTED BY NASA FOR MARS MISSION

Legends like Rakesh SharmaKalpana Chawla were one of the notable people to put India in a Global map. These two astronauts are still an inspiration to little kids. While Rakesh Sharma was first Indian to fly to space, Kalpana Chawla became the second and first Indian woman to fly to space. Another Indian daughter has set out to make this motherland proud. Jasleen Kaur, a girl from Kurukshetra has been selected for NASA's special Mars mission. The mission called Orion Mission will be the first man mission to Mars. NASA has selected the candidates from all around the world for this mission. This expedition is a first of its kind where the astronauts will live and create a habitat on the red planet. However, the group flying in 2020 will not return to the planet. But Jasleen has been selected for a two-way mission of 2030 where she will return after the mission is completed. Making the whole nation proud, she has also made her community proud as she will be the first Sikh girl to fly to space. More power to girls like Jasleen.
