LOOK WHY ANGAD BEDI IS ALL PRAISES FOR DILJIT DOSANJH

We have already been the first one to keep you updated on Diljit Dosanjh -starrer Soorma, based on the life of Indian Hockey legend Sandeep Singh. Recently the movie averted a possible box office clash with Sanjay Dutt biopic when the latter's release date was shifted to 30th June. Diljit's film will release on 29th June this year. While we are sure you're looking forward to see the Punjabi lad on the silver screen, don't forget to look out for another rising talent in the film industry, Angad Bedi. Bedi is playing Bikramjeet Singh, the elder brother of titular Sandeep Singh in the Shaad Ali directorial, who was also a hockey player but could not continue his career due to an injury. Angad Bedi, the son of veteran Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi, is a popular model and actor and has played important roles in movies like Pink, Inside Edge and Tiger Zinda Hai. He was all praises for Diljit Dosanjh while talking to a national daily. He said,

"I am very proud of Diljit Dosanjh. He is from Ludhiana and has made a place for himself in the film industry with a turban. He changed the perspective that a Sikh character is only for a comic relief."

"I am playing Bikramjeet who was an explosive player... one of the best drag-flickers in the country, but his journey was cut short by an injury. But, he wanted to complete it through his brother. Sandeep suffers from a bullet wound in spine, but wants to make a comeback to hockey. Bikarmjeet helps him here by taking different jobs."

The national daily quoted him saying,
"Many youngsters in Punjab have started keeping turban after Diljit’s success!"
While Angad Bedi seems to have begun with the promotions for Soorma, our Jatt and Juliet star is busy judging a reality show on Colors and completing the shoots for Sajjan Singh Rangroot.
