Indian actress Deepika Padukone and long-term boyfriend, Ranveer Singh are now husband and wife. And fans were very excited for the pair to reveal their photos from the wedding. It was on this special occasion that Madame Tussauds decided the perfect date to reveal Deepika Padukone’s wax statue and will be opened to the public.
The official Twitter handle of Madame Tussauds retweeted Deepika Padukone’s tweet and wrote, “Congrats @deepikapadukone ! We couldn’t be more excited for you and can’t wait for your figure reveal next year! #DeepikaWedsRanveer.”
In July earlier this year, Deepika had shared some pictures where she was seen consulting with the team of Madame Tussauds who were there to get the details for her wax statue right. She had a lot of fun while the team was taking the exact measurements from the right eyeball to her face size. She captioned the photos and said, “It’s all about the details.”
Deepika and Ranveer got married at Lake Como, Italy in the presence of both the families. Customs and traditions of both the communities, Sindhis and Konkani, were celebrated. Deepika and Ranveer shared the photos of the wedding and both were totally in love with each other.
The couple’s friends from the film industry have been showering the couple with wishes on Twitter. The couple will host 2 reception parties, one will be held in Bengaluru on November 21 and the other one in Mumbai for the entire film industry on 1st December.
The families are expected to return to India on November 18.
Deepika and Ranveer met on the sets of their first movie together, ‘RamLeela’ which was helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After that, the two have done major blockbuster hit films like ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. Even these films were helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
