At the international level, Anish Bhanwala sweeps gold in Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol. He takes India's medal tally to 34 on Day 9 in Gold Coast. Along with this, he created the history by becoming youngest CWG Gold Medalist.
With a target of five, he got all the shots right in the last round and set the record. Participated for the first time in CWG 2018, the shooter hits a score of 30/40. He scored same in Rio Olympic 2016 where he won silver. Further, the teenager expressed his joy and said-
“I’m very excited that I became the Commonwealth champion. I am the youngest athlete from India to win Commonwealth gold at 15.”

Anish has won gold at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Sydney in 2017 with a world record score of 579 followed by silver in 25m sports pistol. Also, he swept silver at the Commonwealth Shooting Championships held in Brisbane.
That's great! Anish manages shooting with his studies without bunking the school. However, he will definitely get autographs and photographs request after reaching school.
