Padmavati is no doubt one of the most awaited films of the year. Having Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as the lead actors have kept fans excited. Padmavati is another film that is known to have a successful trailer. Celebrating the success, Deepika threw a grand party. While the trumpet of victory is being blown by these actors, still masking its success are the growing controversies behind the film. A legislator of BJP from Hyderabad has threatened to set an inferno on theaters if they screen Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati in Telangana. MLA T. Raja Singh claims it is just a way of denigrating the Rajput community. Apparently, a conspiracy to put their queen and the people of Rajput in poor light. He also believes that all they want is to get more money into their pockets with more than Rs 500 crore made after the protest on the film. More intriguing was the statement he made calling Bhansali a "dog" for allegedly depicting Padmavati as a lover of Muslim ruler Alauddin Khiji. He is also ready to bail anyone who is arrested for setting ablaze the theaters. The Legislator posted his speech on Facebook which he made last week on Friday while addressing a Rajasthani organization. Here is a look at his Facebook post. https://www.facebook.com/RajaSinghOfficial/posts/820030851491174 MLA T.
