MOVIE REVIEW OF 'SATYAMEVA JAYATE'

Satyameva Jayate is a fiction drama which is completely focused on a son’s fight against corruption. He is out on a mission to kill all the corrupt police officers. Like many other stories, this story too has a certain twist. Starring John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee and Aisha Sharma in pivotal roles, the film is a must-watch for the thrill and action lovers. Manoj Bajpayee has nailed his performance as a tough cop. In few parts he seems to be on a weaker note, some conversations in the movie are way too long that it makes you feel bored. The story takes an unexpected turn when both the characters come face to face and the truth is revealed. Here this story picks another angle. A prominent loophole in the film is Bajpayee's family who suddenly disappeared from the narrative. The story goes back in time explaining the backdrop of John's character and how his family was destroyed by the corrupt police department. Both the characters have their own ways to deal with the matter, one does all the right things within his limits while the other one goes beyond limits. The story runs at a smoother pace, the songs were embedded perfectly with the story. In one part of the story where John rescues a puppy, you suddenly see a song playing and the couple of the movie (John Abraham and Aisha Sharma) is seen romancing while driving, which goes awkwardly with the moment. We must say that this film truly defines its tagline 'Corruption Mitega To Desh Badlega'. This is the second time when John Abraham has collaborated with Manoj Bajpayee. These two were last seen in 2013 fiction drama 'Shootout At Wadala'. Have you seen this movie? Do let us know what’s your take on this and for more content like this, keep visiting Gabruu.com
