Not only did the actor accompanied by his wife paid obeisance to the living Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji but also performed 'seva' (self-less service) by washing utensils at world's largest free community kitchen situated at the most important shrine of the Sikhs. During his visit, while interacting with the media the actor confessed that the place has left him awestruck.
The level of seva and faith people have has left me awestruck and stunned, even I have never felt such solace and tranquillity before. I wonder why haven’t I been here before.
On the auspicious day of Maghi, Nana was amazed to watch people taking a holy dip, in Sri Guru Ram Das Sarovar, despite the cold. The actor in the end added;I was missing something in my life. I thank God that during the journey of life, I have been able to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple.
Everyone is equal here, no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion, the entire country should follow and practise what this place symbolises in real life and the nation will turn to gold.
