After giving Bollywood some critically acclaimed films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Lunchbox, Manjhi, Black Friday and Badlapur among others, Nawazuddin Siddiqui got his name associated with one of the biggest controversies of Bollywood after his memoir An Ordinary Life released this October. The memoir, which narrates the story of Nawazuddin’s struggle, hope, relentless persistence, the desire to dream and last but not the least, his affairs, made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The controversies reached a boiling point and the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor had to withdraw the memoir from the stands within a week of its release. He did not made shocking revelations in book but infacte before book he once stated that his first kiss was with co star Niharika Singh for the 2012 film 'Miss Lovely', he futher added that he never kissed anyone before Niharika Singh not even his wife Aaliya Siddiqui. Later he confirmed his relationship with Niharika Singh in his controversial autobiography. While withdrawing the book, Siddiqui said, “I am apologising to everyone who’s [sic] sentiments are hurt because of the chaos around my memoir, “An Ordinary Life”. I hereby regret and decide to withdraw my book.” On the professional front, Nawaz was last spotted at Cannes 2018, where he was promoting his movie 'Manto' directed by Nandita Das. His bollywood biopic of late Politician Balasahab Thackeray will hit screens in January 2019.
