Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he never thought that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani would become such a great filmmaker, not only in the nation but all over the world. Previously, Hirani made a statement where he said that he never thought that Siddiqui would become such a big superstar.
To this statement, Siddiqui replied, "I read the statement which he made about me in the newspaper. I did a very small role in Munna Bhai MBBS which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He used to be a shy person when I worked with him. I also feel surprised how he became such a renowned director. I never expected that he would become such a great filmmaker not only India, but all over the world."
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is famous for his outstanding performances in Gangs of Wassepur which garnered a lot of appreciation and fame to the actor. He also had a short role of a thief in Rajkumar Hirani’s debut movie Munna Bhai MBBS. Nawazuddin was last seen in Manto which is a biographical drama narrating the life of renowned Urdu author Saadat Hasan Manto. The film was written and directed by Nandita Das.
The actor also had a prominent role in the Netflix Original Series named Sacred Games. The makers got an immense response from the audience after the first season was out. The second season of the show has been confirmed and will be released anytime soon by the makers.
Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were seen in some of the main and pivotal roles in the series. The show got awarded with numerous titles.
Nawazuddin will be next seen in Abhijit Panse’s Thackeray and in Ritesh Batra’s Photograph which will also star, Dangal fame actress Sanya Malhotra.
