Neeru Bajwa is a Punjabi actress who has attached many feathers to her hat. Touching these milestones one after the other in her career, she has very gracefully managed to strengthen her fan base showing the world that there is no power which can stop a woman from achieving what she desires. She started her career as an actor, and then turned a director and now she is also a producer.
But prior to entering the world of glam in Punjabi industry, Neeru was seen in Dev Anand’s movie ‘Mai Solah Baras Ki’. Later on after this, she featured in many TV serials and then in Punjabi films. In her entire career, Neeru has portrayed different roles in some of the critically acclaimed Punjabi films. All this helped her in garnering love and respect for her work from all over the world.
She has acted in some of the blockbuster Punjabi films like ‘Jatt & Juliet-2’, ‘Pinky Moge Wali’, ‘Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar’, ‘Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdeyan Rangan Ch Raazi’, ‘Aa Gaye Munde UK De’, ‘Channo Kamli Yaar Di’ and ‘Sardaar Ji’ and ‘Proper Patola’.
In the majority of her films, she has worked opposite most celebrated Punjabi artists like Diljit Dosanjh, Binnu Dhillon, Gippy Grewal, Amberdeep, Jassie Gill, Ammy Virk, and Amrit Maan too.
This time too she is getting a film, but this time the only difference is that she is producing the film titled ‘Munda Hi Chahida’. She had announced this film sometime after her movie Uda Aida was released. From the title, we assume that the film will deal with some societal issue, where the families generally demand a boy child.
The film will be produced under its own production house, Neeru Bajwa Entertainment. This will be the third film which Neeru will be backing. Previously the filmmakers did not get a release date, but now we know that the film will be hitting the theatres on 5th July this year.
We hope that Munda Hi Chahida is an eye opener for the society who still want a male child over a girl child.
We wish Neeru Bawaj all the very best for this venture, and hope that it really creates magic among the audience.
