Amidst all the controversies, 'Padmaavat' has finally seen the light of day. Starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the film has got outstanding reviews. From Bollywood personalities to the general public, 'Padmaavat' has lived up to the hype. The perfect portrayal of each role by the actors has got everyone talking. Prior to the release date, B-town personalities had a preview of the film to which Alia Bhatt tweeted on how amazed she was at Deepika, Ranveer, and Shahid including Sanjay Leela Bhansali. As Alia Bhatt sees Padmaavat as a magical piece, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor saw so much more. Apparently, Deepika's ex-boyfriend's (Ranbir Kapoor) parents were beyond thrilled. They sent a bouquet to the actress the next day after watching the movie. Awww! so sweet right? The card attached to the bouquet read - "Excellent work!!! So proud of you. Love Neetu & Rishi Kapoor". The actress took to her Instagram account and shared the adorable bouquet and lovely message sent to her from the parents of her ex. While this may be a good gesture, it has stirred up a bit of controversy. Fans even as they appreciated her outstanding performance had this to say.
naeunxo: I'm a huge fan Deepika but lol why do you have to post this particular (ranbir parents) evidence of support and not the many others u must have received. It's almost like you are trying to gain attention from media and show off to ranbir's exes. It's honestly Petty and cheap. These things keep to yourself. pinkstar1999: they didn’t love her before rumor has it they didn’t think she was good or fair enough and look at them now lol now she’s finally good well too late aunty @neetu54 who wants to be in that dysfunctional family eek.Whatever fans may say, it is only hoped that the post does not affect the adored chemistry she shares with Ranveer Singh. Besides the appreciation shown by B-Town personalities, the legendary Singer Gurdas Maan also made a remarkable comment on the film. According to a source, after Gurdas Maan watched the film, he said that the Rajputs should be proud of such a film. From all the reviews, it is now evident that there was no need for the controversies that lead to violence. Despite being banned in some states, Padmaavat is doing incredibly well at the box office. After two days of its release, the movie gains Rs. 24 Crores.
